The tour of Argentina in 25 days, allows us to know our country, standing out the visit of the main tourist destinations, including Buenos Aires, as a starting point for the journey and cosmopolitan city, passing by the Iguassu Falls, famous for being one of the 7 wonders of the world, continuing to the Northwest, the most indigenous population, following to Mendoza, wine oasis of the country and then we will enter in the Argentinian Patagonia with the visit of Bariloche, Calafate, Ushuaia and Puerto Madryn.

Argentina Round in 25 days

Day 1: Buenos Aires

Arrival at Buenos Aires airport and transfer to your accommodation. Resto of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Buenos Aires – City tour

During the morning visit the city of Buenos Aires. This tour gives you the emotion of a multiple Buenos Aires. We will see the symbol of our city: the obelisk. We will visit different squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Congreso. Avenues like Corrientes, Mayo, 9 de Julio, among others. Historical neighbourhoods: La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat. Elegant neighbourhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta, and the most modern: Puerto Madero. Parks such as Lezama and Tres de Febrero. We will also visit financial and commercial areas and a Football Stadium.

Day 3: Buenos Aires –  Iguassu – Brazilian Falls

Transer to the domestic airport. Flight to Iguassu. Arrival and  transfer to the hotel. Today you will visit the spectacular Iguassu Falls in Brazil. Departure from the hotel toward the Foz do Iguassu National Park. The area of visit is constituted by a single circuit of walkways, 950 meters long, which is located on the cliffs of the Iguassu River, offering a panoramic view really impressive of all the falls. The route has its zenith when you get to the Mirador de La Gargantadel Diablo, where the noise of the fall of the water shakes the visitor

Day 4: Iguassu Falls: Argentine side

One of the most amazing tours in the whole world, penetrating the geological formation of the Falls and perceiving from different points of view, the magnificence of more than 200 waterfalls running constantly for millions of years. An excellent tour for those passengers willing to experience an intimate contact with Nature and life.

The tour starts early in the morning with a long walk, observing the incredible landscapes and the vast typical fauna and flora of the region, including birds, butterflies, mammals, flowers and plants that gives the surrounding natural environment, an incredible touch of life in an exceptional experience.

The main objective of this tour is to take full advantage of our time in the wild, experiencing the characteristic natural sounds, images, colours and aromas of the jungle.

Day 5: Iguassu –Salta

Transfer to the airport. Flight to Salta. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 6: Quebrada de Humahuaca 

The journey leaves from Salta, but really begins once arrived to Purmamarca Village where time will be enough to observe the Seven Colored Hill, the Church and the Craft Market on the square, and a small walk along it´s narrow streets. We continue towards the town of Tilcara where we visit the Pucará (ancient ruins), the Archaeological Museum, and Huacalera, then we cross the Capricorn Tropic, from where the colors of La Pollera del Coya Hill can be seen and really good pictures taken because of the daylight. We visit Uquía and its church, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels (important vestige in the zone of the Cuzqueña School) are kept. Arrival to Humahuaca will be at noon, this town has an important Church and the Independence Monument (the Indian) of the sculptor Soto Avendaño. After lunch we´ll observe , from the route, La Paleta del Pintor (Paintor”s Palette) framing the town of Maimara. We continue to San Salvador de Jujuy where the Flag Hall and the Cathedral, characterized by its pulpit carved in wood and gold and the statues of Lola Moraare visited. Finally, we return to Salta through National Route N° 9 of abundant subtropical vegetation. The last stretch is: El Abra of Santa Laura, observing La Cienaga (The Swamp) dam, Las Maderas and Campo Alegre and returning to Salta through Vaqueros.

You can combine this tour with the previous one- Arround the Hights- spending the night at Purmamarca and continuing to Humahuaca on the following day.

Optional you can add 1 overnight in Quebrada de Humahuaca; Could be in Tilcara, Purmamarca or Huacalera or even in the Calachaquies Valleys (Cafayate).

Day 7: Calchaquies Valleys – Cafayate

The journey starts from Salta city to the south, along route 68 through the Lerma Valley and its historical towns. We reach Quebrada de lasConchas (the Shell´s Gorge), where wind and water erosion carved curious shapes on the rocks (The Amphitheater,´Devils throat, The Toad, The Castles, among others). When we arrive to Cafayate, we visit some wineries, famous for their production of Torrontes, with special characteristics due to the particularities of the climate and land.After lunch we return to Salta through the Quebrada de lasConchas (the Shells´ Gorge) and the Lerma Valley.

Day 8: Salta 

Free day to explore on your own or enjoy a suggested optional tour.

Day 9: Salta – Mendoza

Transfer to the airport. Flight to Mendoza. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10: High Mountain & Aconcagua 

Walk and enjoy the vastness of the mountain is what is proposed in the road, noted for its rich landscape. Leaving the Pan-American route will pass through landscapes of extraordinary beauty such as Potrerillos and Uspallata. Visit the historic Bridge Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas. Then arrive at Los Penitentes ski center and soon after to Puente del Inca with its fascinating geological formations and hot springs. Aconcagua Provincial Park entrance (only in summer months and as an option but we get to the Christ the Redeemer) continue along the path, making a stop at the “Mirador del Aconcagua” to get from there the best view of Mt. Continue to Las Cuevas, Argentina last town on the road. Return to Mendoza. Christ the Redeemer can be reached only in the months of January through March.

Day 11: Wineries

This tour covers a trip through the mendocinean agricultural oasis and grapes growing areas.
Afterwards, we will visit important and traditional vinicultural farms, where we will have the opportunity to taste its delicious products, and a while later we will see the Carrodilla´s church, where the patron saint of vineyards, who has the same name of the church, is found.

Day 12: Mendoza – Bariloche

Transfer to the airport. Flight to Bariloche. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13: Bariloche – Short Circuit 

Circuito Chico is a Scenic Tour on which to enjoy good food as well as the beautiful views. The scenery is magnificent along the whole drive, and there are several natural lookouts, such as López Bay and “Punto Panorámico” panoramic lookout. Cerro Campanario, a hill standing “in the center of the landscape” (Km 17), has a chairlift that will carry you up to “the heights of amazement” to enjoy the most beautiful view in the area.

Tasty specialties at several tea houses and restaurants along the way add flavor to the scenic tour. Hotel LlaoLlao and San Eduardo Chapel, opposite Puerto Pañuelo, are unique tourist attractions. If you have time, the easy paths through LlaoLlao Municipal Park provide an opportunity for a peaceful walk through the forest. Another alternative is to drive a few more kilometers to the traditional village Colonia Suiza with its unique atmosphere of a historical old rural settlement.

Other attractions along Circuito Chico are regional craft products including knitted garments, woodwork, candles, pottery and cosmetics, among others. Don’t miss the Small Circle Scenic Tour!

Day 14: Bariloche 

Today you have a free day to discover and spend on your own or enjoy a suggested optional tour.

Day 15: Bariloche – El Calafate 

Transfer to the airport in Bariloche. Today you will fly to El Calafate in Patagonia. Transfer to our hotel.

Day 16: Perito Moreno Glacier

Departure from the morning to travel the 80 kms distance separating El Calafate Perito Moreno glacier, unique in the world in constant progress. During the trip you know beautiful places in the Andean foothills, along the south bank of Lake Argentino. After crossing the river Centinela and Mitre, was reached at Brazo Rico to enter the National Park Los Glaciares. Bordering the Lake Rico began to spot the icebergs floating on the water until we can finally appreciate the full extent of this natural wonder has been declared by the United Nations as World Heritage. Stay in place and return to El Calafate.

Day 17: El Calafate

Day at leisure to visit this ville or enjoy a suggested optional tour.

Day 18: El Calafate – Ushuaia

Today transfer to the airport in El Calafate. Flight to Ushuaia. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 19: Ushuaia – Tierra del Fuego National Park

Represents the southernmost protected area, the only National Park that has coastlines, covering a stretch of 6 km. Wide over the Beagle Channel and an area of 63,000 hectares. It is reached by the National Highway No. 3 to N.A. Ushuaia, met along the way Pipo River, Monte Susana, Ensenada Bay, Redonda Island sighting, lake Roca Casita del Bosque, Laguna Verde and Negra, beaver dam, Lapataia Bay, marking the end of the route, to 3,242 km. Federal Capital. The topography of the park is extremely varied, everything is a series of craggy mountains, rivers, valleys and lakes, resulting in varied landscapes from the picturesque and lively stream to the mass of towering mountains, or the extraordinary spectacle of the majestic Canal Beagle . During the spring and summer, you can admire varied and colorful flowers: mutillas, violet, primrose, white orchids, armories, white and yellow daisies, and the various tree species: Cinnamon, Wood Dura Notros Lenga Ñire, Burgundy presenting as Misodendro parasites and the Llao Llao, observing lichens, which hang in the form of a beard. The most common mammals are foxes and rabbits, living in the Park also muskrat and beaver. Among birds, Upland Goose and gray-headed, steamer ducks and great grebe, the black carpenter and rayadito giant, as the Park presents exclusive marine birds such as albatross, the oystercatcher overo the white Cauquen and mammals such as seals and otters sea.

Day 20: Ushuaia – Trelew/Puerto Madryn

Transfer to the airport. Flight to Trelew. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.  

Day 21: Punta Tombo  

** Between mid-September and early April.

We will leave Puerto Madryn in the morning to visit the greatest continental Reserve of Magellan’s penguin, imagine walking between more than a half million penguins, this is what we will do when we arrive at Punta Tombo, with the necessary time to know its habitat and its way of life. Our tour guide will accompany you during the long walk that takes 2 hours and he will give you an Interpretation about the life of the penguins, discovering every detail about Patagonia. On the way back to our hotel, we will go to Trelew to visit the Museum of the dinosaurs EgidioFeruglio, considered the most important of South America. This museum is well known for its collection of Patagonians fossils and dinosaur’s skeletons. Full Day Excursion, going through 400 Km. approx. (Departure time around 8.00 Hs) The visit of Punta Tombo is carried out from the middle of September to the middle of April (season of Penguins), Trelew is carried outduring all the year. 

** When is not time to see Penguins excursion is replaced by Chubut River Valley, for the history and culture of the first Welsh settlers in Patagonia. Visit the town of Gaiman as described and we will visit the city of Trelew

Day 22:Península Valdés

You will visit one of the places chosen as Natural World Heritage sites by UNESCO, which for its unique characteristics homes a variety of marine and terrestrial fauna hardly ever seen at a the same place. We pick you up very early to begin getting to know the natural reserves and the most prominent touristic points of Valdés Peninsula protected area, among them are included the Interpretation center AmeghinoIsthmus, the Isla de los pájaros (The birds island), the sea lions colony Punta Pirámides, the touristic village Puerto Pirámides from where the whales watching navigations are made (from June to December), The Salinas Chica and Grande that are among the greatest depressions in America), the elephant seal rookeries over the cost in Punta Delgada, Caleta Valdés (Valdés cove) and Punta Cantor, besides of arriving to the Punta Norte lighthouse in the killer whales season. In the trip we will be able to see a lot of terrestrial fauna as guanacos, Maras, foxes, armadillos and rheas. During the day you will be advised by our guides, expert interpreters of the Patagonian nature.

Available all year, changing the route and the reserves visited according to the fauna seasonality.

Navigations are performed on vessels of various capacities, from 5 to 70 passengers, and last approximately one to two hours.

  • From June to December sightings of Whales are done, call this way as an animal that is known for its gentleness, its slowness and curiosity, so it can get closer to incredible distances, allowing us to observe their so characteristic skin be covered by callus. Occasionally pass under the boat, emitting a sound and hopefully we will offer a wonderful sight to spot jump or at least some flapping of the tail.

The rest of the year other boardwalks are carried out in Valdes Peninsula

Day 23: Trelew – Buenos Aires

Transfer to the airport of Trelew. Flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 24: Buenos Aires

Day at leisure to visit this amazing city or enjoy a suggested optional tour.

Day 25: Buenos Aires

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
